Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation.  This type of bodywork is excellent for someone wanting to relax and or to have a gentle session with minimal pressure.

CranioSacral (SM)

CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull.  This therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience and is performed fully clothed.

Reflexology - Feet and or Hands

35 min: $45
60 min: $75

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.

Your session, either hands or feet, begin with a warm aromatherapy scented bath, with sugar or salt scrub.

Lymphatic Drainage

75 min: $95

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes.  This includes faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, inflammation from   surgery, post breast cancer treatments, strengthened resistance to illness, and numerous other benefits.

Oriental Bodywork -Cupping

60 min: $85

Oriental bodywork aims to restore and balance the flow of energy (Chi) throughout your body. It uses gentle hand and finger pressure along specific points and energy pathways (meridians) on your body to restore your body to full health.   There are two forms of cupping; manual (cupped hands) or suction based (plastic or glass cups). This treatment is especially helpful for issues of inflammation such as heart conditions, lung or bronchial issues,  and decreases congestion in the body for a more balanced state of well being.

Thai Massage

90 min: $125

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.

Infant massage has also been shown to improve the quality of a baby's sleep, as well as strengthening their immune system.

Individual sessions for your infant are done in the office and typically run from 30-45 minutes.

Infant massage classes are designed to teach you the step by step routine for giving your infant a massage at home. Group classes are available for Pre or Post Natal Mothers.   Classes require 4-6 participants.  Each class runs for approximately 2 1/2 hours.   The cost per person is $45.00 and participants must bring a doll and or baby.  Resource information is given and a take home step by step laminated instruction guide.

Ayurveda

30 - 90 min: $45 - $225

The word, ayurveda is composed of two words of Sanskrit ayur (meaning life) and veda (meaning knowledge).  It is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems developed more than 3,000 years ago in India.  Based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit, its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease.  Ayurveda deals with matters relating to health, day-to-day life and longevity (long life).
